At The RAM Group our journey into Smart Homes began when we wanted to make our own homes smarter. We looked at the leading systems on the market from the likes of Savant, Control4 and Crestron and spoke to some of their top UK partners about our requirements.  Upon receiving their proposals and quotations, we literally fell off our chairs with the 6 figure sums that were being quoted.

So we started searching for alternatives, which is how we discovered Loxone in 2013. Loxone appeared to be able to do everything that we wanted (and more) for a fraction of the cost, controlling our lighting, heating, security and audio/video systems. We put our staff through the extensive training programme and set about installing our first system into one of our own homes in early 2014 and we haven't looked back since. To-date we have completed a number of projects for clients across London and the home counties.

 

At The RAM Group, we live and breath Loxone (as we run it in our own homes). We could sell systems from other vendors, but why would we when our clients can benefit from a state of the art, fully integrated, functional Smart Home for a fraction of the price of the more well known systems.

Smart Homes were originally a luxury purchase for the rich and famous, but now smart home technology is available to everyone. It is now possible to have a high tech, easy to use smart home for a fraction of the cost of the high end systems, yet still delivering the same levels of control, integration, reliability, future proofing and ease of use.

 

We believe that over the next 5 years, Loxone will continue to disrupt the established manufacturers in the Smart Home / Home Automation market.
